Murray cod, Australia’s largest freshwater fish, is found in southeastern Australia. But in 2012, a man named Ken Smith caught a Murray cod in the waters near the Sydney Bridge. It was supposed that Murray cod lived only in freshwater basins in the Inland area, so it was almost impossible for the fish to appear in Sydney Harbor, but because in those days it was impossible for the fish to appear in Sydney Harbor. It’s been raining heavily in New State, so fisheries scientists speculate that this Murray cod may be a farm stocking individual. It should have been washed out of the farm pond by floods and washed into the Parramatta River, which then drifted into Sydney Harbor waters along with the Parramatta River.
